England's 184 was their fourth highest score in T20 international and it is their highest total against New Zealand in T20Is, previous highest was 159 at Durban in the inaugural 2007 World Twenty20. New Zealand's 152 was their seventh highest score in T20 international and It is their lowest total against England in T20Is, previously they scored 164 at Durban in the inaugural 2007 World Twenty20. Dimitri Mascarenhas smashed four-consecutive sixes off Jeetan Patel over. 26-runs : Number of runs that were scored in the 16th over from Jeetan Patel, which was the most productive over for England in T20 international cricket history and the fourth most expensive-over in T20Is. Dimitri Mascarenhas scored 25-runs (1, 6, 6, 6, 6 ) - the most runs scored by an England batsman in an over in T20 international and the fourth most runs scored by a batsman in an single over T20Is.

England scored massive total of 184-8 in 20 overs with top scorer by Kevin Pietersen hammered a 43 off 23-balls including 6-fours & a six with strike rate of 186.95.

Dimitri Mascarenhas 31, Paul Collingwood 26, Owais Shah 23, Debutants Phil Mustard - who scored 20-runs and Graeme Swann 15 not out on their debut T20I match.

New Zealand best bowler by Chris Martin, Kyle Mills both took 2-wickets, Debutants Jesse Ryder and Tim Southee - who took 1-wickets on their debut T20I match, Jacob Oram, Tim Southee and Jeetan Patel each took one-wickets.

New Zealand scored 152 for all-out in 19.2 overs with top scorer by Jacob Oram blasted a 61 off 40-balls including 7-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 152.50 and Jesse Ryder struck 22 off 21-balls included 4-fours.

England best bowler by Ryan Sidebottom picked up 3-wickets for 16-runs in 3.2-overs, Dimitri Mascarenhas 2-19, Paul Collingwood, Graeme Swann, Stuart Broad and James Anderson each took one-wickets.

Dimitri Mascarenhas named Player of the match for his all-round performance took 2-wickets after smashing a 31 off 14-balls including 4-sixes & a four with strike rate of 221.42.
