Paul Collingwood's record-breaking fifty, Rapid knocks from Owais Shah, Phil Mustard and Luke Wright sets up to England's record 50-run victory over New Zealand and clinch the two-match series 2-0 whitewash in the second T20I.

  • England's 50-run win was their joint second largest victory by terms of runs in T20 international and it is their biggest win against New Zealand in T20Is, previous biggest win by 32-runs at Auckland in this series' first T20I.
  • New Zealand's 50-run defeat was their second worst by margin of runs in T20Is.
  • Paul Collingwood hammered a 24-ball sixth fastest fifty in T20 international and the fastest fifty by an England batsman in T20Is, surpassing the previous record of 27-ball half-century held by Kevin Pietersen against Zimbabwe at Cape Town in the inaugural 2007 World Twenty20.
  • Paul Collingwood became the second England batsman to score a fifty against New Zealand in T20 internationals after Darren Maddy.
  • 102 : Paul Collingwood and Owais Shah set up the record fifth-wicket partnership for England in T20 international, previously held by the 47-run stand between Marcus Trescothick and Jamie Dalrymple against Pakistan at Bristol in 2006, It is the second highest fifth-wicket stand and the joint ninth highest any-wicket stand in T20Is, jointly jointly unbeaten 102-run stand held by between Adam Gilchrist and Matthew Hayden against Sri Lanka at Cape Town in the inaugural 2007 World Twenty20.
  • England's 193 was their joint second highest score in T20 international and It is their highest total against New Zealand in T20Is, previous highest was 184 at Auckland in this series' first T20I.
  • New Zealand's 143 was their joint fourth lowest score in the completed innings in T20 international and It is their worst total against England in T20Is, previous lowest was 152 at Auckland in this series' first T20I.
  • 65 : Phil Mustard and Luke Wright set up the record first-wicket partnership for England in T20 international, previously held by the 62-run stand between Darren Maddy and Vikram Solanki against same opponent at Durban in the inaugural 2007 World Twenty20.

England scored massive total of 193-8 in 50 overs with top scorer by Paul Collingwood 54, Owais Shah cracked a 47 off 35-balls included 4-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 134.28.

Phil Mustard blasted 40 off 24-balls including 3-sixes & 3-fours with strike rate of 166.66 and Luke Wright hammered a 30 off 19-balls included 5-fours and a six with strike-rate of 157.89.

New Zealand best bowler by Tim Southee takes 2-wickets, Debutant Paul Hitchcock - who took 2-wickets on his debut T20I match, Chris Martin and Kyle Mills both took one-wickets.

New Zealand scored 143-8 in 20 overs with top scorer by Jamie How struck 31 off 25-balls including 3-fours.

Kyle Mills cracked a unbeaten 30 off 20-balls included 2-fours and a six with strike rate of 136.36 and Ross Taylor hammered a 21 off 10-balls included 2-sixes & a four with strike-rate of 210.

England best bowler by Ryan Sidebottom, Dimitri Mascarenhas, Graeme Swann each took 2-wickets and one for Stuart Broad - James Anderson.

Paul Collingwood named Player of the match for his record-breaking 54-runs knocked off facing 28-balls including 5-fours and 3-sixes with strike rate of 192.85.
