* New Zealand's 50-run defeat was their second worst by margin of runs in T20Is.

* Paul Collingwood hammered a 24-ball sixth fastest fifty in T20 international and the fastest fifty by an England batsman in T20Is, surpassing the previous record of 27-ball half-century held by Kevin Pietersen against Zimbabwe at Cape Town in the inaugural 2007 World Twenty20.

* 102 : Paul Collingwood and Owais Shah set up the record fifth-wicket partnership for England in T20 international, previously held by the 47-run stand between Marcus Trescothick and Jamie Dalrymple against Pakistan at Bristol in 2006, It is the second highest fifth-wicket stand and the joint ninth highest any-wicket stand in T20Is, jointly jointly unbeaten 102-run stand held by between Adam Gilchrist and Matthew Hayden against Sri Lanka at Cape Town in the inaugural 2007 World Twenty20.

Phil Mustard blasted 40 off 24-balls including 3-sixes & 3-fours with strike rate of 166.66 and Luke Wright hammered a 30 off 19-balls included 5-fours and a six with strike-rate of 157.89.
