* It was a disappointing performance by the United Arab Emirates after their promising debut four days earlier in the Austral-Asia Cup tournament.

United Arab Emirates were 68 for 6 at the mid-point of their innings, though a 57-run stand between Johanne Samarasekera and Arshad Laiq took them well into three figures.



UAE bundled out for  145 in 49.5 overs with top scorer by Johanne Samarasekara scored a unbeaten 31 off consuming 75-balls without a boundary.

Arshad Laeeq cracked a 31 off 68-balls including 2-fours and w-sixes, Riaz Poonawala struck 22 off 42-balls included 3-fours and Saleem Raza scored 16 off 29-balls contained two-fours.

Pakistan best bowler by Wasim Akram picked up 3-wickets for 19-runs in 10-overs including a maiden with economy rate of 1.90, Ata-ur-Rehman captured three-wickets and Saleem Malik took 3-wickets for 42-runs in 10-overs included a maiden.

Pakistan chase down the target of 146 for 1 in 23.1 overs with top scorer by Aamer Sohail cracked a unbeaten 51 off 67-balls including seven-fours.

Inzamam-ul-Haq hit a unbeaten 50 off 47-balls included nine boundaries and Saeed Anwar blasted a 39 off 28-balls contained 6-fours & a six with strike rate of 139.28.

UAE best bowler by Saleem Raza took one-wicket for 17-runs in 3-overs.

Ata-ur-Rehman named Player of the match for his pace bowling attack to picked up 3-wickets for 32-runs in 9.5 overs.
