Spinners heavy-attack after a stunning half-centuries from Mohammad Shahzad and Asghar Afghan guided Afghanistan hard-fought 14-run victory over Scotland in the First Round clash of a ICC World Twenty20.
* Afghanistan stretched their T20I record unbeaten 6-0 against Scotland.
Afghanistan scored massive total of 170-5 in 20 overs with top scorer by Mohammad Shahzad 61, Asghar Afghan cracked a unbeaten 55 off 50-balls including 2-fours & a six and Noor Ali Zadran 17.
Scotland best bowler by Alasdair Evans, Mark Watt and Josh Davey each took one-wickets.
Scotland scored 156-5 in 20 overs with top scorer by George Munsey struck 41 off 29-balls including 9-fours, Kyle Coetzer cracked a 40 off 27-balls included four-fours and a six, Matt Machan scored 36 and Preston Mommsen 17.
Afghanistan best bowler by Rashid Khan took 2-wickets and one for Samiullah Shinwari and Mohammad Nabi.
