Solid bowling from Wayne Parnell and Roelof van der Merwe after Herschelle Gibbs' half-century, Rapid knocks from Graeme Smith and Jacques Kallis guided South Africa cruise 20-run victory over West Indies in the 17th match of a World Twenty20.

* Wayne Parnell's 4 for 13 was the second best bowling figures for South Africa in T20 international after Dale Steyn's 4 for 9, also the second best bowling figures by an South African bowler against West Indies in T20Is, It is the joint sixth best-bowling figures in T20Is, jointly with RP Singh and Umar Gul and the joint fourth best figures in World Twenty20, jointly with RP Singh.

South Africa scored 183-7 in 20 overs with top scorer by Herschelle Gibbs hammered a 55 off 35-balls including 8-fours & a six with strike-rate of 157.14.

Jacques Kallis cracked a 45 off 31-balls included 6-fours & a six with strike rate of 145.16.

Graeme Smith blasted a 31 off 18-balls including 6-fours with strike rate of 172.22, AB de Villiers and Mark Boucher both scored 17-runs.

West Indies best bowler by Jerome Taylor picked up 3-wickets, Lendl Simmons, Kieron Pollard, Fidel Edwards and Sulieman Benn each took one-wickets.

West Indies scored 173-9 in 20 overs with top scorer by Lendl Simmons blasted a 77 off 50-balls including 12-fours & a six with strike rate of 154, Dwayne Bravo 19 and Sulieman Benn 13 not out.

South Africa best bowler by Wayne Parnell claims 4 for 13, Roelof van der Merwe, Dale Steyn both took two-wickets and one for JP Duminy.

Wayne Parnell named Player of the match for his solid bowling attack to claimed a career-best 4-wickets for 13-runs in 4-overs.
