A superb unbeaten 73 from Kevin Pietersen led to England thrilling six-wicket victory over Pakistan in the World Twenty20 Group E match.
Pakistan scored 147-9 in 20 overs with top scorer by Salman Butt struck 34 off 26-balls including 3-fours & a six with strike rate of 130.76, Umar Akmal 30, Mohammad Hafeez 18 and Kamran Akmal 15.
England best bowler by Michael Yardy, Stuart Broad, Ryan Sidebottom each took two-wickets and one for Graeme Swann - Tim Bresnan.
England chased 151-4 in 19.3 overs with top scorer by Kevin Pietersen 73 not out, Michael Lumb blasted a 25 off 13-balls including 3-fours & a six with strike rate of 192.30, Craig Kieswetter 25 and Paul Collingwood 16.
