Herschelle Gibbs scored 30 off 36-balls included 6-fours, Shaun Pollock 20 and Gary Kirsten 18.

Australia best bowler by Shane Warne claims 4-29, Paul Reiffel, Damien Fleming and Glenn McGrath each took one-wickets.
