An unbeaten blazing 42-ball 82 from Corey Anderson and Martin Guptill's assault before Three-wicket hauls from Grant Elliott and Adam Milne helped to New Zealand's record 95-run victory over Pakistan and clinch the three-match series with 2-1 in a one-sided game of the third T20I.

  • New Zealand's 95-win was their largest victory by terms of runs in T20 internationals, previous biggest win by 83-runs against Ireland at Nottingham in the 2009 World Twenty20.
  • New Zealand's 196 was their seventh highest score in T20 internationals and it is their highest total against Pakistan in T20Is, previous highest was 185 at Hamilton in 2010.
  • Pakistan's 95-run defeat was their worst by margin of runs in T20Is, previous biggest defeat by 94-runs against Australia at Dubai in 2012.
  • Corey Anderson's 82 was the seventh highest score for New Zealand in T20 international and the second highest-score by an New Zealand batsman against Pakistan in T20Is after Martin Guptill's unbeaten 87.
  • 57 : Martin Guptill and Kane Williamson set up the second highest first-wicket partnership for New Zealand against Pakistan in T20 internationals.
  • 64 : Corey Anderson and Grant Elliott set up the second highest fourth-wicket partnership for New Zealand against Pakistan in T20 internationals.
  • Pakistan's 101 was their seventh lowest score in the completed innings in T20 international and It is their worst total against New Zealand in T20Is, previous lowest was 127 at Dubai in 2014.

New Zealand scored 196-5 in 20 overs with top scorer by Corey Anderson 82 not out, Martin Guptill blasted a 42 off 19-balls including 6-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 221.05.

Kane Williamson struck 33 off 34-balls including 3-fours & a six and Grant Elliott 19.

Pakistan best bowler by Wahab Riaz took two-wickets and one for Shahid Afridi.

Pakistan scored 101 for all-out in 16.1 overs with top scorer by Sarfraz Ahmed struck 41 off 36-balls including 5-fours and Shoaib Malik 14.

New Zealand best bowler by Grant Elliott claims 3-wickets for 7-runs in 2-overs, Adam Milne picked up 3-wickets for 8-runs in 3.1 overs including a maiden, Corey Anderson took two-wickets and one for Trent Boult.

Corey Anderson named Player of the match for his all-round performance to took 2-wickets for 17-runs in 3-overs after a scoring a unbeaten blazing 82-runs knocked off facing 42-balls including 6-fours and 4-sixes with strike rate of 195.23.
