* Australia's 134-run win was their largest victory by terms of runs in T20 international and overall the eighth biggest victory in T20Is.

* Sri Lanka's 134-run defeat was their worst by margin of runs in T20Is.

* 122 : Aaron Finch and David Warner set up the record first-wicket partnership for Australia against Sri Lanka in T20 international, previously held by the 109-run stand between Glenn Maxwell and Travis Head at Pallekele in 2016 and Australia's third highest opening stand in T20Is.

Australia best bowler by Adam Zampa picked up 3-wickets for 14-runs in 4-overs, Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins both took two-wickets and one for Ashton Agar.

David Warner named Player of the match for his career-best unbeaten rapid 100-runs knocked off facing 56-balls including 10-fours and 4-sixes with strike rate of 178.57.
