David Warner's maiden T20I century and enterprising fifties from Aaron Finch and Glenn Maxwell before bowlers shine as Australia's record 134-run victory over Sri Lanka and take a 1-0 lead in the one-sided game of the first T20I.

David Warner hammered a 56-ball fifth fastest century for Australia in T20 international and became the fourth Australian batsman to score a hundred in T20Is after Shane Watson, Aaron Finch and Glenn Maxwell. Glenn Maxwell hammered a 22-ball his third fastest fifty for Australia in T20 internationals. Australia's 233 was their fourth highest score in T20 international and Australia's second highest total against Sri Lanka in T20Is.

Australia scored mammoth total of 233 in 20 overs with top scorer by David Warner 100 not out - which was his 1st T20I hundred.

Aaron Finch hammered a 64 off 36-balls including 8-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 177.77 and Glenn Maxwell blasted a 62 off 28-balls included 7-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 221.42.

Sri Lanka best bowler by Dasun Shanaka and Lakshan Sandakan both took one-wickets.

Sri Lanka scored 99-9 in 20 overs with top scorer by Dasun Shanaka 17 and Kusal Perera 16.

Australia best bowler by Adam Zampa picked up 3-wickets for 14-runs in 4-overs, Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins both took two-wickets and one for Ashton Agar.

David Warner named Player of the match for his career-best unbeaten rapid 100-runs knocked off facing 56-balls including 10-fours and 4-sixes with strike rate of 178.57.
