Bowlers attack before David Warner and Steve Smith fifties helped to Australia cruise nine-wicket victory over Sri Lanka and took an unassailable 2-0 lead to seal the series in the one-sided game of the second T20I.
* The nine-wicket win is Australia's fifth time in T20 international and second time Australia had defeated Sri Lanka by nine or more wickets in T20Is.
* 117* : David Warner and Steve Smith set up the record second-wicket partnership for Australia in T20 international, previously held by the 114-run stand between Aaron Finch and Shaun Marsh against England at Southampton in 2013.
Sri Lanka scored 117 for all-out in 19 overs with top scorer by Kusal Perera 27, Danushka Gunathilaka 21 and Avishka Fernando 17.
Australia best bowler by Adam Zampa, Billy Stanlake, Ashton Agar and Pat Cummins each took two-wickets.
Australia chased 118-1 in 13 overs with top scorer by David Warner 60 not out and Steve Smith hammered a unbeaten 53 off 36-balls including 6-fours with strike rate of 147.22.
Sri Lanka best bowler by Lasith Malinga took 1-wicket for 23-runs in 3-overs.
D avid Warner named Player of the match for his match-winning unbeaten quick-fire 60-runs knocked off facing 41-balls including 9-fours with strike rate of 146.34.
