Dwayne Bravo stars as Mumbai Indians registered their historic first IPL game win against Deccan Chargers by a comfortable 25-runs, despite Venugopal Rao - Dwaraka Ravi Teja's fightback and their sixth straight win in a row in the 42nd match of a Indian Premier League.
MI scored 178-7 in 20 overs with top scorer by Abhishek Nayar blasted a 38 off 24-balls including 3-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 158.33.
Sanath Jayasuriya hammered a 36 off 15-balls including 6-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 240, Dwayne Bravo hammered a 30 off 17-balls included 2-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 176.47 and Sachin Tendulkar struck 23 off 19-balls contained 4-fours.
DC best bowler by RP Singh picked up 3-wickets for 35-runs in 4-overs, Shahid Afridi and Venugopal Rao both took 2-wickets.
DC scored 153-7 in 20 overs with top scorer by Venugopal Rao blasted a 57 off 38-balls including 4-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 150.
Dwaraka Ravi Teja cracked a 37 off 27-balls including 3-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 150 and Chamara Silva hit 17 off 14-balls included 3-fours.
MI best bowler by Dwayne Bravo picked up 3-wickets, Dilhara Fernando took 2-wickets and one for Abhishek Nayar.
Dwayne Bravo named Player of the match for his brilliant bowling performance to picked up 3-wickets for 24-runs in 4-overs.
