Glenn McGrath's four-for after half-centuries from Gautam Gambhir and Shikhar Dhawan helped to Delhi Daredevils narrow 10-run victory over Royal Challengers Bangalore, despite a all-round display from Jacques Kallis in a high-voltage game of the 17th match of a Indian Premier League.

Match Stats : 
  • Glenn McGrath's 4 for 29 was the best bowling figures in Indian Premier League, surpassing the previous record of 3 for 14 held by Sanath Jayasuriya against Kolkata Knight Riders at Kolkata earlier yesterday's match.
  • Delhi Daredevils' 191 was their highest score in Indian Premier League, previous highest was 158 against Kings XI Punjab at Mohali earlier in this season and the eighth highest-score in IPL.

DD scored massive total of 191-5 in 20 overs with top scorer by Gautam Gambhir hammered a 86 off 54-balls including 11-fours & a six with strike rate of 159.25.

Shikhar Dhawan blasted a 50 off 33-balls including 4-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 151.51 and Virender Sehwag hammered a 24 off 12-balls contained 3-fours & a six with strike rate of 200.

KKR best bowler by Jacques Kallis captured 2-wickets and one for Dale Steyn - Zaheer Khan.

RCB scored 181-5 in 20 overs with top scorer by Jacques Kallis cracked a 54 off 44-balls including 6-fours & a six.

Rahul Dravid struck 38 off 30-balls including 4-fours & a six, Mark Boucher blasted a unbeaten 31 off 17-balls included 2-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 182.35 and Ross Taylor hammered a 29 off 15-balls contained 3-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 193.33.

DD best bowler by Glenn McGrath 4-29 and Daniel Vettori took 1-wicket for 19-runs in 4-overs.

Glenn McGrath named Player of the match for his brilliant bowling performance to claimed a career-best 4-wicket haul for 29-runs in 4-overs.
