KXIP scored 158-6 in 20 overs with top scorer by Yuvraj Singh cracked a 38 off 28-balls including 3-fours & 2-sixes.
Irfan Pathan hammered a 32 off 17-balls including 5-fours & a six with strike rate of 188.23, Mahela Jayawardene blasted a unbeaten 31 off 19-balls included 3-fours & a six with strike rate of 163.15.
Kumar Sangakkara cracked a 26 off 24-balls including two boundaries and Ravi Bopara scored a run-a-ball 15-runs contained 2-fours.
KKR best bowler by Sourav Ganguly captured two-wickets, Ishant Sharma, Moises Henriques and Ashok Dinda each took one-wickets.
KKR chased 79-1 in 9.2 overs - due to rain DLS par score 68 after 9.2 overs Kolkata Knight Riders were 11 runs ahead of the par score when the heavy rain-thrash the match.
KKR top scorer by Chris Gayle hammered a unbeaten 44 off 26-balls, Brendon McCullum struck 21 off 16-balls included 2-sixes & a four and Brad Hodge scored a unbeaten 10 off 14-balls without a boundary.
KXIP best bowler by Vikramjeet Malik took 1-wicket for 23-runs in 2-overs.
Chris Gayle named Player of the match for his match-winning whirlwind batting performance to smashed a unbeaten 44 off facing 26-balls including 4-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 169.23.
