Vinay Kumar and Jacques Kallis combined five-wickets before half-centuries from Rahul Dravid and Robin Uthappa steered to Royal Challengers Bangalore crushing seven-wicket victory over Kolkata Knight Riders in the 43rd match of a Indian Premier League.
* Robin Uthappa equalled a 22-ball joint eight fastest fifty in Indian Premier League.
KKR scored 160-9 in 20 overs with top scorer by Brendon McCullum cracked a 45 off 36-balls including 5-fours & 2-sixes.
Chris Gayle hammered a 34 off 15-balls including 6-fours & a six with strike rate of 226.66, Sourav Ganguly struck 33 off 32-balls included 2-sixes & 2-fours and Cheteshwar Pujara blasted a 16 off 8-balls including 2-sixes with strike rate of 200.
RCB best bowler by Vinay Kumar picked up 3-wickets for 23-runs in 3-overs, Jacques Kallis took 2-wickets and one for Anil Kumble - Dale Steyn.
RCB chased 162-3 in 17.1 overs with top scorer by Rahul Dravid blasted a 52 off 35-balls including 5-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 148.57.
Robin Uthappa hammered a unbeaten 50 off 22-balls including 4-sixes & 4-fours with strike rate of 227.27, Sridharan Sriram cracked a 27 off 29-balls included 3-fours and Ross Taylor hit a unbeaten 14 off 6-balls contained one-six & a four with strike-rate of 233.33.
KKR best bowler by Ashok Dinda took 2-wickets and one for Angelo Mathews.
