South Africa scored 180-5 in 40 overs - due to the delay caused by overnight downpour - with top scorer by Daryll Cullinan retired for 70 off 81-balls including 5-fours.
Jonty Rhodes cracked a 40 off 42-balls, Brian McMillan struck 24 off 31-balls included a boundary and David Richardson hit a unbeaten 17 off 23-balls without a four.
West Indies best bowler by Winston Benjamin captured 2-wickets, Curtly Ambrose, Carl Hooper and Kenny Benjamin each took one-wickets.
West Indies bundled out for 139 in 37 overs with top scorer by Phil Simmons struck 29 off 39-balls including 4-fours.

Carl Hooper scored 17 off 29-balls without a boundary Anderson Cummins hit 17 off 21-balls included 3-fours and Keith Arthurton struck 16 off 14-balls contained 2-fours.
South Africa best bowler by Pat Symcox picked up 3-wickets for 20-runs in 8-overs including a maiden, Brian McMillan, Richard Snell, Hansie Cronje each took 2-wickets and one for Allan Donald.
