Rahmat Shah's unbeaten century and Hashmatullah Shahidi's 82 after Naveen-ul-Haq and Mujeeb Ur Rahman's combined 7-wickets helped to Afghanistan convincing seven-wicket victory over Ireland, despite a record-equal century from Paul Stirling and took an unassailable 2-0 lead to seal the series in the second ODI.

  • Afghanistan chased 260 was their joint fourth highest successful run-chase in One-day international and It is their highest chase against Ireland in ODIs, previous highest chase was 230 at Greater Noida in 2017.
  • 11 : Paul Stirling equalled a joint most centuries for Ireland in One-day internationals jointly with William Porterfield.
  • 106 : Paul Stirling and Curtis Campher set up the second highest fourth-wicket partnership for Ireland against Afghanistan in One-day International and Ireland's sixth highest fourth-wicket stand in ODIs.
  • 184 : Rahmat Shah and Hashmatullah Shahidi set up the record third-wicket partnership for Afghanistan in One-day International, previously held by the 144-run stand between these pair against Bangladesh at Dhaka in 2016 and Afghanistan's third highest any-wicket stand in ODIs.

Ireland scored 259-9 in 50 overs with top scorer by Paul Stirling 128 off 132-balls - which was his 11th ODI hundred and his second century against Afghanistan in ODIs - including 12-fours & 4-sixes.

Curtis Campher cracked a 47 off 52-balls including 4-fours, Harry Tector 24 and Lorcan Turker 17.

Afghanistan best bowler by Naveen-ul-Haq claimed a career-best 4-wickets for 42-runs in 10-overs, Mujeeb Ur Rahman picked up 3-wickets and one for Rashid Khan - Gulbadin Naib.

Afghanistan chased 260-3 in 45.2 overs with top scorer by Rahmat Shah 103 not out - which was his 5th ODI hundred and his second century against Ireland in ODIs.

Hashmatullah Shahidi struck 82 off 100-balls including 10-fours & 2-sixes, Rahmanullah Gurbaz blasted a 31 off 26-balls included 3-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 119.23, Asghar Afghan 21 not out and Javed Ahmadi 16.

Ireland best bowler by Curtis Campher, Simi Singh and Barry McCarthy each took one-wickets.

Rahmat Shah named Player of the match for his match-winning superb unbeaten 103-runs knocked off facing 109-balls including 10-fours and 2-sixes.
