Aaron Finch's rapid half-century and Luke Wright's quick-fire 44, Angelo Mathews' all-round display, Ali Murtaza and Ashok Dinda's combined 5-wickets helped to Pune Warriors India comprehensive 38-run victory over Delhi Daredevils in the 71st match of a Indian Premier League.
PWI scored 172-5 in 20 overs with top scorer by Aaron Finch blasted a 52 off 34-balls including 4-sixes & 3-fours with strike rate of 152.94.
Luke Wright hammered a 44 off 23-balls including 7-fours & a six with strike rate of 191.30, Angelo Mathews cracked a unbeaten 30 off 22-balls included 2-sixes and Robin Uthappa hit 24 off 20-balls contained 3-fours.
DD best bowler by Siddarth Kaul captured two-wickets, Shahbaz Nadeem, Irfan Pathan and Umesh Yadav each took one-wickets.
DD scored 134-9 in the allotted 20 overs with top scorer by Chidhambaram Gautam cracked a 30 off 23-balls including 2-fours & a six.
Irfan Pathan hit 24 off 28-balls including 2-fours, Bharat Chipli scored 16 off 18-balls included one-six & a four and Mahela Jayawardene hit 14 off 13-balls contained 3-fours.
PWI best bowler by Ali Murtaza picked up 3-wickets for 15-runs in 4-overs, Angelo Mathews captured three-wickets for 14-runs in 3-overs, Ashok Dinda took 2-wickets and one for Wayne Parnell.
Luke Wright named Player of the match for his quick-fire 44 off 23-balls including 23-balls including 7-fours and a six with strike rate of 191.30.
