Parthiv Patel and Shikhar Dhawan guided Sunrisers Hyderabad registered their historic first IPL game win against Kolkata Knight Riders by a convincing 5-wickets and qualify for the play-offs in the 72nd match of a Indian Premier League.
KKR scored 130-7 in 20 overs with top scorer by Yusuf Pathan blasted a unbeaten 49 off 29-balls including 3-sixes & 3-fours with strike rate of 168.96.
Jacques Kallis cracked a 24 off 29-balls including two boundaries and Manvinder Bisla hit 15 off 18-balls included 3-fours.
SRH best bowler by Dale Steyn captured two-wickets, Karn Sharma, Amit Mishra, Anand Rajan and Thisara Perera each took one-wickets.
SRH scored 132-5 in 18.5 overs with top scorer by Parthiv Patel cracked a 47 off 37-balls - who fell three-run short of his half-century - including 7-fours.
Shikhar Dhawan struck 42 off 35-balls including 3-fours & 2-sixes and Daren Sammy hit a unbeaten 17 off 12-balls contained 2-sixes with strike rate of 141.66.
KKR best bowler by Iqbal Abdulla picked up 3-wickets for 29-runs in 3.5-overs, Mohammed Shami took one-wicket.
Parthiv Patel named Player of the match for his match-winning brilliant 47 off 37-balls including 7-fours with strike rate of 127.03.
