Sri Lankan star batsman Kumar Sangakkara smashed a blazing unbeaten 105-runs knocked off facing 76-balls including 13-fours and a six with strike rate of 138.16 helped to Sri Lanka set up the massive total of 332 against Bangladesh in the eighth match of a World Cup.
* 5 : Kumar Sangakkara hit the most centuries by an Sri Lankan batsman against Bangladesh in One-day international, surpassing the previous record of 4-hundred hit by (Sanath Jayasuriya and Tillaknratne Dilshan) and also the most by a batsman against Bangladesh in ODIs.
Kumar Sangakkara who slammed his 22nd One-day international century, his second ODI hundred in World Cups and his 100 came from 73-balls.
