Sri Lankan debutant right-handed batsman Pathum Nissanka scored a brilliant 103-runs knocked off facing 252-balls including 6-fours helped to Sri Lanka set up the massive total of 476 in their second innings in the first Test match.
* Pathum Nissanka became the fourth Sri Lankan batsman to score a hundred on debut Test match, the first debut century since Thilan Samaraweera in 2001 and the first Sri Lankan player to hit hundred in overseas.
Pathum Nissanka who struck his 1st Test century and his 100 came from 240-balls.
