Imran Tahir and Rajat Bhatia's combined 5-wickets before Half-centuries from Ajinkya Rahane and Steve Smith steers to Rising Pune Supergiants tense seven-wicket victory over defending champion Mumbai Indians in a high-voltage game of the second match of a Indian Premier League.


* Ajinkya Rahane hammered a 27-ball fastest fifty for Rising Pune Supergiants in Indian Premier League history, surpassing the previous record of 29-ball half-century held by Steve Smith against Gujarat Lions in the last year.

MI scored 184-8 in 20 overs with top scorer by Jos Buttler blasted a 38 off 19-balls including 3-sixes & 3-fours with strike rate of 200.

Hardik Pandya hammered a unbeaten 35 off 15-balls including 4-sixes & a four with strike rate of 233.33, Nitish Rana cracked a 34 off 28-balls included 2-sixes & a four.

Kieron Pollard hammered a 27 off 17-balls including 3-fours & a six with strike rate of 158.82 and Parthiv Patel hit 19 off 14-balls contained 4-fours.

RPS best bowler by Imran Tahir picked up 3-wickets for 28-runs in 4-overs, Rajat Bhatia took 2-wickets and one for Adam Zampa - Ben Stokes.

RPS chased 187-3 in 19.5 overs with top scorer by Steven Smith hammered a unbeaten 84 off 54-balls, Ajinkya Rahane blasted a 60 off 34-balls including 6-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 176.47.

Ben Stokes hit 21 off 14-balls including 3-fours and MS Dhoni scored a run-a-ball unbeaten 12-runs included a six.

MI best bowler by Tim Southee, Hardik Pandya and Mitchell McClenaghan each took one-wickets.

Steve Smith named Player of the match for his match-winning unbeaten scintillating 84 off facing 54-balls including 7-fours and 3-sixes with strike rate of 155.56.
