Pakistan captain Babar Azam produced a record-breaking career-best 158-runs knocked off facing 139-balls including 14-fours and 4-sixes with strike rate of 113.66 helped to Pakistan set up the commanding total of 331 against England in the third ODI.
* Babar Azam's 158 was the fifth highest score for Pakistan in One-day international and the highest-score by an Pakistan batsman against England in ODIs, surpassing the previous record of 151 held by Imam-ul-Haq at Bristol in 2019.
* Babar Azam became the first Pakistan captain to score a 150-plus runs in One-day international cricket history. The previous highest-score by a Pakistan captain was 125 not-out by Shoaib Malik against India in 2008 and Babar Azam scored 125 against Zimbabwe in the last year.
* Babar Azam also became the first captain to score a 150 or more runs against England in One-day international cricket history. The previous highest-score by a captain in ODIs against England was 141 by Graeme Smith at Centurion in 2009.
Babar Azam who slammed his 14th One-day international century - which was his second century against England in ODIs and his 100 came from 104-balls.
