Virat Kohli's another half-century, All-round Glenn Maxwell's fifty with two-wickets, Harshal Patel's stunning hat-trick and Yuzvendra Chahal's three-for helped to Royal Challengers Bangalore's record 54-run victory over Mumbai Indians, despite a Rohit Sharma's blitz in the 39th match of a Indian Premier League.

Royal Challengers Bangalore's 54-run win was their ninth largest victory by terms of runs in Indian Premier League and It is their biggest win against Mumbai Indians in IPL, previous biggest win by 43-runs at Chennai in 2011. Mumbai Indians' 54-run defeat was their fifth worst by margin of runs in IPL. Harshal Patel became the second Royal Challengers Bangalore player to claimed a hat-trick in Indian Premier League after Samuel Badree and overall the 17th player in IPL. Harshal Patel's 4 for 17 was his second best bowling performance for Royal Challengers Bangalore in Indian Premier League and also his second best bowling figures against Mumbai Indians in IPL after his 5 for 27 at Chennai earlier this year. Mumbai Indians' 111 was their ninth lowest score in Indian Premier League and It is their worst total against Royal Challengers Bangalore in IPL, previous lowest-score was 115 at same venue in 2014.

RCB scored 165-6 in 20 overs with top scorer by Glenn Maxwell 56, Virat Kohli struck 51 off 42-balls including 3-sixes & 3-fours and Srikar Bharat cracked a 32 off 24-balls included 2-sixes & 2-fours.

MI best bowler by Jasprit Bumrha picked up 3-wickets, Trent Boult, Rahul Chahar and Adam Milne each took one-wickets.

MI scored 111 for all-out in 18.1 overs with top scorer by Rohit Sharma hammered a 43 off 28-balls including 5-fours & a six with strike rate of 153.57.

Quinton de Kock scored 24 off 23-balls including 4-fours and Ishan Kishan 9.

RCB best bowler by Harshal Patel claimed a 4-wickets for 17-runs in 3.1-overs, Yuzvendra Chahal picked up 3-wickets for 11-runs in 4-overs including a maiden, Glenn Maxwell took 2-wickets and one for Mohammed Siraj.

Glenn Maxwell named Player of the match for his all-round performance to took 2-wickets for 23-runs in 4-overs after smashing a quick-fire 56 off 37-balls including 6-fours and 3-sixes with strike rate of 151.35.
