David Wiese' maiden blazing half-century powers to Namibia's record six-wicket victory over Netherlands and keep their campaign alive in a historic first round seventh match of a T20 World Cup.

Match Stats : Namibia won their first match at a T20 World Cup and also their first T20I win against Netherlands. Namibia chased 165 was their highest successful run-chase in T20 internationals, previous highest chase was 138 against Scotland at ICCA Dubai in this year. Netherlands' 164 was their highest score against Namibia in T20 international, previously they scored 140 at ICCA Dubai in 2019 and It is their second highest total in T20 World Cup. Max O'Dowd became the second Netherlands batsman to score a fifty against Namibia in T20 internationals after Ryan ten Doeschate. Max O'Dowd's 70 was his second highest score for Netherlands in T20 international, It is the Netherlands' second highest score in T20 World Cup and the highest-score by an Netherlands batsman against Namibia in T20Is, surpassing the previous record of 59 held by Ryan ten Doeschate at ICCA Dubai in 2019. 82 : Max O'Dowd and Colin Ackermann set up the record third-wicket partnership for Netherlands in T20 international, previously held by the 24-run stand between Max O'Dowd and Pieter Seelaar at ICCA Dubai in 2019 and Netherlands' third highest third-wicket stand in T20Is. David Wiese became the eighth Namibia player to score a fifty in T20 international, first batsman to score a half-century against Netherlands in T20Is and also the Namibia batsman to score a fifty in T20 World Cup.

Netherlands scored 164-4 in 20 overs with top scorer by Max O'Dowd struck 70 off 56-balls including 6-fours & a six.

Colin Ackermann scored 35 off 32-balls including one-six & a four, Scott Edwards 21 not out and Stephan Myburgh 16.
