  • Sri Lanka's 70-run win was their fourth largest victory by terms of runs in T20 international and It is their biggest victory against Ireland in T20Is, previously they won by 9-runs at Lord's in the 2009 World Twenty20.
  • Sri Lanka's 171 was their highest score against Ireland in T20 international, previous highest was 144 at Lord's in 2009 World Twenty20 and It is their seventh highest total in T20 World Cup.
  • Wanindu Hasaranga became the second Sri Lankan batsman to score a fifty against Ireland in T20 internationals after Mahela Jayawardene.
  • Pathum Nissanka became the third Sri Lankan batsman to score a fifty against Ireland in T20 internationals after Mahela Jayawardene and Wanindu Hasaranga.
  • 123 : Pathum Nissanka and Wanindu Hasaranga set up the record fourth-wicket partnership for Sri Lanka in T20 international, previously held by the unbeaten 104-run stand between Tillakaratne Dilshan and Jeevan Mendis against Australia at Pallekele in 2011, It is the highest fourth-wicket stand in T20 World Cup and the joint fifth highest fourth-wicket partnership in T20Is.

Sri Lanka scored 171-7 in 20 overs with top scorer by Wanindu Hasaranga 71, Pathum Nissanka cracked a 61 off 47-balls including 6-fours & a six and Dasun Shanaka 21 not out.

Ireland best bowler by Josh Little claimed a career-best 4-wickets for 23-runs in 4-overs, Mark Adair took 2-wickets and one for Paul Stirling.

Ireland scored 101 for all-out in 18.3 overs with top scorer by Andy Balbirnie struck 41 off 39-balls including 2-sixes & 2-fours, Curtis Campher 24 and Paul Stirling 7.

Sri Lanka best bowler by Maheesh Theekshana picked up 3-wickets for 17-runs in 4-overs, Lahiru Kumara, Chamika Karunaratne both took 2-wickets and one for Wanindu Hasaranga - Dushmantha Chameera.

Wanindu Hasaranga named Player of the match for his his career-best quick-fire 71-runs knocked off facing 47-balls including 10-fours & a six with strike rate of 151.06.
