  • India's 81-ball spare win was their largest victory by terms of balls remaining in T20 international, previous biggest win by 59-balls against UAE at Dhaka in the 2016 Asia Cup and the third biggest win in T20 World Cups.
  • India chased 86 was their fifth lowest successful run-chase in T20 international and India's lowest chase in T20 World Cups, previous lowest chase was 113 against Ireland at Nottingham in the 2009 World Twenty20.
  • Scotland's 85 was their fourth lowest score in the completed innings in T20 international and It is their third worst total in T20 World Cups.
  • KL Rahul hammered a 18-ball second fastest fifty for India in T20 international after Yuvraj Singh's 12-ball half-century, also it is the second quickest fifty for India in T20 World Cup and the joint third fastest half-century in T20 World Cups, jointly with Glenn Maxwell.
  • KL Rahul became the first Indian batsman to score a fifty against Scotland in T20 international cricket history.
  • 64 : Jasprit Bumrah became the leading wicket-taker for India in T20 internationals, surpassing the previous record of 63-wickets by Yuzvendra Chahal.
  • India scored 82-runs in the powerplay was their highest score in the powerplay in T20 international, previous highest was 78 against South Africa at Johannesburg in 2018.
  • 70 : KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma set up the fifth highest first-wicket partnership for India in T20 World Cups.
  • 23 : Rohit Sharma equalled a joint second most fifties hit in T20 internationals, jointly with Babar Azam.

Scotland scored 85 for all-out in 17.4 overs with top scorer by George Munsey struck 24 off 19-balls including 4-fours & a six, Michael Leask 21 and Calum McLeod 16.

India best bowler by Ravindra Jadeja 3-15, Mohammad Shami takes 3-wickets for 15-runs in 3-overs included a maiden.

Jasprit Bumrah takes 2-wickets for 10-runs in 3.4-overs and Ravichandran Ashwin took one-wicket.

India chased 89-2 in 6.3 overs with top scorer by KL Rahul hammered a 50 off 19-balls including 6-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 263.15.

Rohit Sharma blasted a 30 off 16-balls including 5-fours & a six with strike rate of 187.50.

Scotland best bowler by Mark Watt and Brad Wheal both took one-wickets.

Ravindra Jadeja named Player of the match for his brilliant spin bowling attack to claimed a career-best 3-wickets for 15-runs in 3-overs including a maiden.
