Rahmanullah Gurbaz's brilliant century and captain Hashmatullah Shahidi's half-century before Mujeeb Ur Rahman's four-for helped to Afghanistan's record 48-run victory over Netherlands and took an unassailable 2-0 lead to seal the series in the second ODI.

  • Afghanistan's 48-run win was their largest victory by terms of runs against Netherlands in One-day internationals, previous biggest win by 36-runs at same venue in this series' first ODI.
  • Rahmanullah Gurbaz became the third Afghanistan batsman to score a hundred against Netherlands in One-day internationals after Karim Sadiq and Mohammad Shahzad.
  • Usman Ghani became the third Afghanistan opener to fall for a first-ball duck in One-day internationals after Karim Sadiq and Noor Ali Zardan.
  • Afghanistan's 237 was their second highest score against Netherlands in One-day internationals.
  • Netherlands' 189 was their second lowest score in the completed innings against Afghanistan in One-day internationals.
  • 83 : Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Rahmat Shah set up the record second-wicket partnership for Afghanistan against Netherlands in One-day internationals,.previously held by the 79-run stand between Mohammad Shahzad and Asghar Afghan at Amstelveen in 2009.
  • 106 : Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Hashmatullah Shahidi set up the record third-wicket partnership for Afghanistan in One-day internationals, previously held by the 84-run stand between Karim Sadiq and Mohammad Shahzad at The Hague in 2010 and Afghanistan's fifth highest third-wicket stand in ODIs.
  • Netherlands lost their last eight wickets for just 64-runs - which was their third worst eight-wicket collapse in One-day international and it is their worst 8-wicket collapse against Afghanistan in ODIs. They went from 125 for 2 to 189 for all out.
  • Their previous worst such collapse was eight for 116-runs against Afghanistan at same venue in this series first ODI.

Afghanistan scored 237-6 in 50 overs with top scorer by Rahmanullah Gurbaz 103 off 127-balls - which was his 2nd ODI hundred & his first century against Netherlands in ODIs.

Hashmatullah Shahidi struck 54 off 80-balls including 2-sixes & a four, Rahmat Shah scored 35 off 54-balls included 3-fours and Najibullah Zadran 20 not out.

Netherlands best bowler by Philippe Boissevain, Fred Klaassen both took 2-wickets and one for Colin Ackerman - Ryan Klein.

Netherlands scored 189 for all-out in 47.4 overs with top scorer by Scott Edwards struck 86 off 120-balls including 9-fours.

Bas de Leede scored 34 off consuming 83-deliveries including a boundary, Pieter Seelaar 12 and Saqib Zulfiqar 12.

Afghanistan best bowler by Mujeeb Ur Rahman claimed a 4-wickets for 32-runs in 9.4-overs, Fareed Ahmad took 2-wickets and one for Rashid Khan - Yamin Ahmadzai.

Rahmanullah Gurbaz named Player of the match for his brilliant 103-runs knocked off facing 127-balls including 6-fours & 3-sixes.
