Half-centuries from Vriitya Aravind and Rohan Mustafa before Palaniapan Meiyappan's match-turning two wickets helped to UAE hard-fought 13-run victory over Ireland, despite a Andy Balbirnie - Gareth Delany's assault in the fourth match of a Quadrangular T20I Series.

  • UAE's 13-run win was their second smallest victory by terms of runs against Ireland in T20 internationals.
  • UAE's 178 was their eighth highest score in T20 international and It is their highest total against Ireland in T20Is, previous highest was 163 at ICCA Dubai in the last year.

UAE scored 178-5 in 20 overs with top scorer by Rohan Mustafa 54, Vriitya Aravind struck 50 off 36-balls including 3-fours & 2-sixes.

Kashif Daud hammered a unbeaten 28 off 11-balls including 3-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 254.54.

Ireland best bowler by Craig Young claimed a 4-wickets for 28-runs in 4-overs and Josh Little took one-wicket.

Ireland scored 165-7 in 20 overs with top scorer by Andy Balbirnie blasted a 42 off 27-balls including 3-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 155.55.

Gareth Delany hammered a 40 off 20-balls including 5-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 200, Curtis Campher cracked a 40 off 39-balls included 2-fours and Lorcan Tucker 22.

UAE best bowler by Palaniapan Meiyappan took 2-wickets and one for Rohan Mustafa - Zahoor Khan.

Rohan Mustafa named Player of the match for his brilliant 54-runs knocked off facing 43-balls including 6-fours and a six with strike rate of 125.58 and took a key wickets.
