Indian star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja produced a record-breaking career-best unbeaten 175-runs knocked off facing 228-balls including 17-fours & 3-sixes helped to India post the massive total of 574 against Sri Lanka in the first Test match.
* Ravindra Jadeja's unbeaten 175 was his highest score for India in Test matches and the tenth highest-score by an Indian batsman against Sri Lanka in Tests.
* Ravindra Jadeja's unbeaten 175 was the highest score by an Indian No.7 batsman in Test cricket history, surpassing the previous record of 163 held by Kapil Dev against same opponent at Kanpur in 1986 and the joint seventh highest-score by a No.7 batsman in Tests, jointly with KS Ranjitsinhji (ENG) against Australia at Sydney in 1897.
Ravindra Jadeja who hammered his 2nd Test hundred - which was his first century against Sri Lanka in Tests and his 100 came from 160-balls.
