Wriddhiman Saha's scintillating half-century, Rahul Tewatia and Rashid Khan's power-hitting display powers to Gujarat Titans registered their historic first IPL game win against Sunrisers Hyderabad by dramatic 5-wickets, despite a devastating bowling spell from Umran Malik's maiden five-for and move to top of the points table in a high-scoring thriller of the 40th match of a Indian Premier League.

Gujarat Titans chased 196 was their highest successful run-chase in IPL, previous highest chase was 190 against Punjab Kings at Brabourne Stadium in this tournament. Sunrisers Hyderabad's 195 was their highest score against Gujarat Titans in Indian Premier League, previously they scored 168 at Dr DY Patil Sports Academy, Mumbai in this tournament. Umran Malik's 5 for 25 was the second best bowling figures for Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL after Bhuvneshwar Kumar' 5 for 19. Umran Malik became the second Sunrisers Hyderabad bowler to claimed a five-wicket haul in IPL after Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Umran Malik became the first Sunrisers Hyderabad bowler to took five-wicket haul against Gujarat Titans in IPL.

SRH scored 195-6 in 20 overs with top scorer by Abhishek Sharma hammered a 65 off 42-balls including 6-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 154.76.

Aiden Markram blasted a 56 off 40-balls including 3-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 140, Shashank Singh hammered a unbeaten 25 off 6-balls included 3-sixes & a four with strike rate of 416.66 and Rahul Tripathi 16.

GT best bowler by Mohammed Shami picked up 3-wickets for 39-runs in 4-overs, Yash Dayal and Alzarri Joseph both took one-wickets.

GT chased 199-5 in 20 overs with top scorer by Wriddhiman Saha hammered a 68 off 38-balls including 11-fours & a six with strike rate of 178.94.

Rahul Tewatia blasted a unbeaten 40 off 21-balls including 4-fours & a six with strike rate of 190.47, Rashid Khan hammered a unbeaten 31 off 11-balls included 4-sixes with strike rate of 281.81, Shubman Gill 22 and David Miller 17.

SRH best bowler by Umran Malik claimed a career-best 5-wicket haul for 25-runs in 4-overs.

Umran Malik named Player of the match for his pace bowling attack to claimed a 5-wickets in 4-overs.
