Viv Richards' another all-round display with brilliant 83 and three-wickets and Faoud Bacchus' half-century steers to West Indies easy seven-wicket victory over Pakistan and took a unbeatable 2-0 lead to seal the series in the second ODI.

PAKISTAN scored 200/4 (40 Overs)  with top scorer by Zaheer Abbas * 95 off 98-balls - who fell five-run short of his century - including 12-fours and Majid Khan 34 (24)

West Indies best bowler by Viv Richards 2/53 (8) and Colin Croft 1/28 (8)

WEST INDIES chased 201/3 (35.3 Overs) with top scorer by Viv Richards 83 (94) and Faoud Bacchus 79 (104)

Pakistan best bowler by Imran Khan 1/30 (8) and Sarfraz Nawaz 1/29 (7.3)



A cavalier Innings by irrepressible Viv Richards carried the West Indies seven-wicket victory over Pakistan in their One-day international in Sialkot, They coasted home with 27 ball to spare to take a winning 2-0 lead in the best of three match series.

Pakistan's hopes of recording their first win over the tourists in a limited-overs match had earlier been raised by polished unbeatean 95 by Zaheer Abbas. He guided his side to 200 for four from the quota of 40 overs.

But Desmond Haynes had fallen for 16 at 22, VIv Richards set about making the victory target a mere formality, None of the Pakistani bowlers were spared as he and Faud Bacchus took the West Indies to the brink of victory with a 176-run partnership.

The high point of Pakistan's innings was a 54-run fourth wicket stand in only eight overs by Zaheer Abbas and Majid Khan.

Viv Richards named Player of the match for his  match-winning all-round performance to scored a brilliant 83 off 94-balls including 8-fours & 2-sixes after taking 2-wickets.
