Sushant Modani's superb half-century and Captain Monank Patel's supporting 49 steers to USA comfortable four-wicket victory over UAE in a low-scoring game of the 82nd match of a Cricket World Cup League 2.

Match Stats : UAE chased 204 was their highest successful run-chase in One-day internationals, previous highest chase was 203 against same opponent at Sharjah in 2019. UAE's 203 was their highest total against USA in One-day internationals, previous highest was 202 at Sharjah in 2019. Chundangapoyil Rizwan became the second UAE batsman to score a fifty against USA in ODIs after Muhammad Usman. Sushant Modani became the second USA batsman to score a fifty against UAE in ODIs after Aaron Jones. 102 : Sushant Modani and Monank Patel set up the record second-wicket partnership for USA in One-day international, previously held by the 87-run stand between Xavier Marshall and Steven Taylor against Scotland in 2019 and the USA's third highest any-wicket stand in ODIs.

UAE scored 203-7 in 50 overs with top scorer by Chundangapoyil Rizwan cracked a 67 off 93-balls including 5-fours.

Basil Hameed scored 32 off 63-balls including 2-fours & a six, Kashif Daud 24 not out, Rahul Bhatia 24 not out, Chirag Suri 23 and Vriitya Aravind 19.

USA best bowler by Cameron Stevenson, Ali Khan both took 2-wickets, Steven Taylor, Sourabh Netravalkar and Nosthush Kenjige each took one-wickets.

USA chased 204-6 in 44.5 overs with top scorer by Sushant Modani 70, Monank Patel 49 off 65-balls - who fell one-run short of his half-century - including one-six & a four, Gajanand Singh 29 not out and Aaron Jones 15.

UAE best bowler by Ahmed Raza picked up 3-wickets, Akif Raja, Basil Hameed and Rahul Bhatia each took one-wickets.

Sushant Modani named Player of the match for his match-winning superb 70-runs knocked off facing 102-balls including 6-fours.
