Larry Gomes, Colin Croft's combined 5-wickets, Desmond Haynes' superb 48 and Larry Gomes all-round display helped to West Indies comfortable seven-wicket victory over England and clinch the two-match series 2-0 whitewash in a one-sided game of the second ODI.

England scored 137 for all-out in 47.2 overs with top scorer by Mike Gatting 29, Ian Botham 27, Peter Willey 21 and David Bairstow 16.

West Indies best bowler by Colin Croft picked up 3-wickets in 9-runs in 6.2-overs including a maiden, Larry Gomes took 3-wickets for 30-runs in 10-overs included two maidens.

Andy Roberts took 2-wickets and one for Michael Holding - Viv Richards.

West Indies chased 138-4 in 39.3 overs with top scorer by Desmond Haynes 48 off 77-balls - who fell two-run short of his half-century - including 4-fours, Clive Lloyd 25 not out, Everton Mattis 24 and Larry Gomes 22 not out.

England best bowler by John Emburey took 2-wickets and one for Graham Dilley.

Larry Gomes named Player of the match for his match-winning all-round performance to scored a unbeaten 22 off 44-balls including a boundary after picked up 3-wickets for 30-runs in 10-overs included two maidens.
