Blair Tickner holds nerve as New Zealand pulled off a thrilling 1-run victory over Ireland, despite a Paul Stirling - Harry Tector's centuries and clinch the three-match series 3-0 whitewash in a high-scoring thriller of the third ODI.

  • New Zealand's 1-run win was their joint smallest victory by terms of runs in One-day internationals, it is their 5th time win by 1-run and first time New Zealand had defeated Ireland by 1-run in ODIs.
  • This is the 16th time New Zealand have whitewashed their oppositions in a bilateral three-match series in One-day international and registered their historic first 3-0 whitewash against Ireland in ODIs.
  • This is the fourth time Ireland have suffered a clean sweep in a bilateral three-match series in One-day internationals.

Henry Nicholls hammered a 79 off 54-balls including 7-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 146.29, Glenn Phillips blasted a 47 off 30-balls included 5-fours & 2-sixes with strike-rate of 156.66.

Finn Allen hit 33 off 28-balls including 7-fours with strike rate of 117.85, Tom Latham cracked a 30 off 26-balls included 3-fours & a six with strike-rate of 115.38 and Michael Bracewell 21 not out.

Ireland best bowler by Josh Little takes 2-wickets, Curtis Campher, Gareth Delany and Craig Young each took one-wickets.

Ireland scored 359-9 in 50 overs with top scorer by Paul Stirling hammered a 120 off 103-balls - which was his 13th ODI hundred & his first century against New Zealand in ODIs - including 14-fours & 5-sixes with strike rate of 116.50.

Harry Tector hit 106 off 108-balls - which was his 2nd ODI hundred & also his second century against New Zealand in ODIs - including 7-fours & 5-sixes.

Andy McBrine cracked a 26 off 20-balls including 6-fours, Gareth Delany 22 and George Dockrell 22.

New Zealand best bowler by Matt Henry claimed a 4-wickets for 68-runs in 10-overs, Mitchell Santner picked up 3-wickets and one for Blair Tickner.

Martin Guptill named Player of the match for his masterclass 115-runs knocked off facing 126-balls including 15-fours and 2-sixes.
