Wesley Madhevere's superb half-century, Sikandar Raza's rapid fifty and Sean Williams' valuable 33 before some efficient death bowling by Richard Ngarava and Luke Jongwe helped to Zimbabwe narrow 17-run victory over Bangladesh, despite a captain Nurul Hasan's assault and take a 1-0 lead in a high-scoring game of the first T20I.

Zimbabwe scored 205-3 in 20 overs with top scorer by Wesley Madhevere blasted a 67 for retired hurt off 46-balls including 9-fours with strike rate of 145.65.

Sikandar Raza blasted a unbeaten 65 off 26-balls, Sean Williams hammered a 33 off 19-balls included 4-fours & a six with strike rate of 173.68 and Craig Ervine 21.

Bangladesh best bowler by Mustafizur Rahman took 2-wickets and one for Mosaddek Hossain.

Bangladesh scored 188-6 in 20 overs with top scorer by Nurul Hasan hammered a 42 off 26-balls including 4-sixes & a four with strike rate of 161.53.

Najmul Hossain Shanto blasted a 37 off 25-balls including 3-fours & a six with strike rate of 148, Liton Das hammered a 32 off 19-balls included 6-fours with strike-rate of 168.42 and Anamul Haque 26.

Zimbabwe best bowler by Luke Jongwe takes 2-wickets, Wellington Masakadza, Sikandar Raza and Richard Ngarava each took one-wickets.

Sikandar Raza named Player of the match for his rapid unbeaten 65 off 26-balls including 7-fours and 4-sixes with strike rate of 250.
