Ollie Robinson, Stuart Broad and Ollie Pope stars as England easy nine-wicket victory over South Africa and clinch the three-match series with 2-1 in a one-sided game of the third Test.

  • Ollie Robinson's 5 for 49 was his best bowling performance for England in Test matches and the seventh best bowling figures by an England bowler against South Africa at The Oval in Tests.

* Day one washed out after England won the toss and choose to fied first in the opening day of the third and final Test match.

* The third & final Test between England and South Africa at the The Oval, Day two has been suspended following the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

The announcement of the Queen Elizabeth II's death at the age of 96 came at 6.30pm on Thursday, the scheduled first day of the Test, after which the England & Wales Cricket Board confirmed that no scheduled cricket would take place on Friday.

South Africa 1st Innings scored 118 for all-out in 36.2 overs with top scorer by Marco Jansen struck 30 off 59-balls including 4-fours, Khaya Zondo 23 and Keshav Maharaj 18.

1st Innings England best bowler by Ollie Robinson claimed a career-best 5-wicket haul for 49-runs in 14-overs including three maidens, Stuart Broad picked up 4-wickets for 41-runs in 12.2-overs included a maiden and James Anderson took 1-wicket.


England 1st Innings scored 158 for all-out in 36.2 overs with top scorer by Ollie Pope hammered a 67 off 77-balls including 13-fours, Joe Root 23 and Ben Foakes 14.

1st Innings South Africa best bowler by Marco Jansen claimed a 5-wickets for 35-runs in 12.2-overs including two maidens, Kagiso Rabada takes 4-wickets for 81-runs in 13-overs including a maiden and Anrich Nortje took one-wicket.

South Africa 2nd Innings scored  169 for all-out in 56.2 overs with top scorer by Dean Elgar hit 36 off 59-balls including 6-fours, Sarel Erwee 26, Keegan Petersen 23, Keshav Maharaj 18 and Khaya Zondo 16.

2nd Innings England best bowler by Ben Stokes, Stuart Broad both picked up 3-wickets, James Anderson and Ollie Robinson both took 2-wickets.

England chased 130-1 in 22.3 overs with top scorer by Zak Crawley cracked a unbeaten 69 off 57-balls including 12-fours.

Alex Lees scored a unbeaten 39 off 73-balls included 4-fours and Ollie Pope 11 not out.

2nd Innings South Africa best bowler by Kagiso Rabada took 1-wicket for 57-runs in 11-overs including a maiden.
