Captain Temba Bavuma's brilliant century and David Miller's blazing half-century steers to South Africa record-breaking five-wicket victory over England, despite a Harry Brook - Jos Buttler's blitz and took an unassailable 2-0 lead to seal the series in a high-scoring epic game of the second ODI.

  • England's 342 was their second highest score against South Africa in One-day international and also It is their second highest total at Mangaung Oval, Bloemfontein in ODIs after their 399 against same opponent in 2016.
  • 106 : Jos Buttler and Moeen Ali set up the record fifth-wicket partnership for England against South Africa in One-day internationals, previously held by the 92-run stand between Kevin Pietersen and Paul Collingwood at same venue in 2005.
  • 54 : Jos Buttler and Sam Curran set up the fifth highest seventh-wicket partnership for England against South Africa in ODIs.
  • England's 342 was their fifth highest team total without a batsman being scored a century in One-day international and It is their highest innings total without a century being scored against South Africa in ODIs, previous such highest was 323 against South Africa at Centurion in the 2009 Champions Trophy.
  • South Africa's 347 was their second highest score against England in One-day international after their 354 at Cape Town in 2009 and It is their second highest total at Mangaung Oval, Bloemfontein in ODIs after their 351 against Zimbabwe in 2010.

England scored massive total of 342-7 in 50 overs with top scorer by Jos Buttler blasted a unbeaten 94 off 82-balls including 8-fours & 3-sixes with strike rate of 114.63.

Harry Brook struck 80 off 75-balls including 7-fours & 4-sixes with strike rate of 106.66, Moeen Ali scored 51 off 45-balls included 6-fours & a six.

Sam Curran hammered a 28 off 17-balls including 3-sixes & a four with strike rate of 164.70 and Ben Duckett scored 20 off 32-balls included 2-fours.

South Africa best bowler by Anrich Nortje takes 2-wickets, Aiden Markram, Keshav Maharaj, Wayne Parnell, Lungi Ngidi and Marco Jansen each took one-wickets.

South Africa chased 347-5 in 49.1 overs with top scorer by Temba Bavuma struck 109 off 102-balls - which was his 3rd ODI hundred & his first century against England in ODIs.

David Miller hammered a unbeaten 58 off 37-balls including 3-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 156.75, Aiden Markram hit 49 off 43-balls - who fell one-run short of his half-century - included 3-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 113.95, 

Rassie van der Dussen scored a run-a-ball 38-runs including 3-fours & a six, Marco Jansen scored a unbeaten 32 off 29-balls included one-six & a four.

Quinton de Kock cracked a 31 off 28-balls including 4-fours & a six, Heinrich Klaasen hit 27 off 19-balls included 3-fours.

England best bowler by Olly Stone, Adil Rashid both took 2-wickets and one for Sam Curran.

Temba Bavuma named Player of the match for his captain innings to scored a match-winning brilliant 109-runs knocked off facing 102-balls including 14-fours & a six.
