Stephen Doheny and Harry Tector's half-centuries before Josh Little's four-for helped to Ireland comprehensive 46-run victory over Zimbabwe and level the series with 1-1 in the second ODI.

Match Stats : 
  • Ireland's 46-run win was their largest victory by terms of runs against Zimbabwe in One-day internationals, previously they won by 20-runs at same venue in 2010.
  • 25 Innings : Harry Tector became the fastest Ireland player to reach 1000 ODI runs in terms of innings, beating Paul Stirling and Ed Joyce record, Both took 29. innings to reach this feat.
  • Ireland's 294 was their second highest score against Zimbabwe in ODIs after their 331 at Hobart in the 2015 World Cup.

Ireland scored 294-7 in 50 overs with top scorer by Stephen Doheny struck 84 off 111-balls including 7-fours & a six.

Harry Tector hammered a 75 off 61-balls including 7-fours & a six with strike rate of 122.95, Paul Stirling scored 45 off 61-balls included 4-fours & 2-sixes and George Dockrell blasted a 30 off 19-balls including 3-fours & a six with strike-rate of 157.89.

Zimbabwe best bowler by Tendai Chatara picked up 3-wickets, Brad Evans took 2-wickets and one for Ryan Burl - Richard Ngarava.

Zimbabwe scored 248 for all-out in 47.3 overs with top scorer by Gary Ballance struck 52 off 67-balls including two boundaries.

Innocent Kaia cracked a 51 off 70-balls including 3-fours & a six, Ryan Burl blasted a 41 off 39-balls included 5-fours and Chamu Chibhabha struck 40 off 55-balls included 4-fours.

Ireland best bowler by Josh Little 4-38, Mark Adair, Graham Hume both took 2-wickets and one for Andy McBrine.

Josh Little named Player of the match for his pace bowling attack to claimed a 4-wickets for 38-runs in 10-overs.
