Stunning centuries from Dawid Malan and Jos Buttler before Jofra Archer's record-breaking six-for and Adil Rashid's three-for helped to England consolation 59-run victory over South Africa, despite a fighting knock from Heinrich Klaasen's quick-fire 80 and avoid the series whitewash in the third ODI.

  • England's 59-run win was their fifth largest victory by terms of runs against South Africa in ODIs.
  • This is the 20th instance of England's two batsmen were scores of centuries or more runs in their innings in One-day international and It is their second such instance against South Africa in ODIs after 20 years.

  • 6-sixes ' Dawid Malan hit his most sixes in an innings for England in One-day international and the joint second most-sixes hit by an England batsman against South Africa in ODIs, jointly with Kevin Pietersen and Owais Shah.
  • 232 : Dawid Malan and Jos Buttler set up the record fourth-wicket partnership for England in One-day international, previously held by the 226-run stand between Andrew Strauss and Andrew Flintoff against West Indies at Lord's in 2004 and the England highest any-wicket stand against South Africa in ODIs, previously held by the 200-run stand for the first-wicket partnership between Marcus Trescothick and Vikram Solanki at The Oval in the 2003 NatWest Series.
  • Jofra Archer's 6 for 40 was the third best bowling figures for England in One-day international and the best bowling figures by an England bowler against South Africa in ODIs, surpassing the previous record of 5 for 23 held by Stuart Broad at Nottingham in 2008.
  • Jofra Archer became the fourth England bowler to claim a six-for in One-day internationals after Paul Collingwood, Chris Woakes and Reece Topley.
  • Jofra Archer became the first England bowler to take a six-wicket haul against South Africa in One-day international cricket history.

England scored mammoth total of 346-7 in 50 overs with top scorer by Jos Buttler blasted a 131 off 127-balls - which was his 11th ODI hundred & his second century against South Africa in ODIs.

Dawid Malan struck 118 off 114-balls - which was his 3rd ODI hundred & his first century against South Africa in ODIs - including 7-fours & 6-sixes.

Moeen Ali hammered a 41 off 23-balls including 4-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 178.26 and Sam Curran scored 11 off 5-balls included a six.

South Africa best bowler by Lungi Ngidi claimed a 4-wickets for 62-runs in 10-overs, Marco Jansen took 2-wickets and one for Sisanda Magala.

South Africa scored 287 for all-out in 43.1 overs with top scorer by Heinrich Klaasen hammered a 80 off 62-balls including 7-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 129.03.

Reeza Hendricks hit 52 off 61-balls including 6-fours, Aiden Markram struck 39 off 35-balls included 2-sixes & a four.

Temba Bavuma blasted a 35 off 27-balls including 5-fours & a six with strike rate of 129.62 and Wayne Parnell cracked a 34 off 29-balls included 3-fours & a six with strike rate of 117.24.

England best bowler by Jofra Archer claimed a career-best 6-wickets for 40-runs in 9.1-overs including a maiden, Adil Rashid picked up 3-wickets and one for Chris Woakes.

Jos Buttler named Player of the match for his record-breaking batting performance to scored a superb 131-runs knocked off facing 127-balls including 7-sixes & 6-fours with strike rate of 103.14.

Jos Buttler earned player of the series for contributing 261-runs with average of 130.50 in the three-match series.
