Quinton de Kock's record 43-ball maiden century and Reeza Hendricks' blazing half-century powers to South Africa chase down the world record-breaking target of 259 to win by six-wickets against West Indies, despite a Johnson Charles' record 39-ball fastest T20I century for West Indies and level the series 1-1 in a high-scoring historic game of the second T20I.

  • South Africa chased 259 was the highest successful run-chase in T20 international cricket history, surpassing the previous record of 243 chased by Bulgaria against Serbia at Sofia in the last year.

  • Quinton de Kock hammered a 43-ball second fastest century for South Africa in T20 international after David Miller's 35-ball record-breaking hundred against Bangladesh at Potchefstroom in 2017 and the fastest hundred by an South African batsman against West Indies in ODIs, surpassing the previous record of 46-ball century held by Faf du Plessis at Johannesburg in 2015.

West Indies scored mammoth total of 258-5 in 20 overs with top scorer by Johnson Charles hammered a career-best 118 off 46-balls - which was his 1st T20I hundred - including 11-sixes & 10-fours with strike rate of 256.52.

Kyle Mayers blasted a 51 off 27-balls including 5-fours & 4-sixes with strike rate of 188.88, Romario Shepherd hammered a unbeaten 41 off 18-balls included 4-sixes & a four with strike rate of 227.27 and Rovman Powell cracked a 28 off 19-balls including 2-sixes & a four with strike rate of 147.36.

South Africa best bowler by Marco Jansen picked up 3-wickets for 52-runs in 4-overs and Wayne Parnell took 2-wickets.

South Africa chased 259-4 in 18.5 overs with top scorer by  Quinton de Kock hammered a career-best 100 off 44-balls - which was his 1st T20I hundred.

Reeza Hendricks blasted a 68 off 28-balls including 11-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 242.85, 

West Indies best bowler by Rovman Powell, Odean Smith, Raymon Reifer and Jason Holder each took one-wickets.

Quinton de Kock named Player of the match for his match-winning record-breaking batting performance to smashed a career-best 100-runs knocked off facing 44-balls including 9-fours & 8-sixes with strike rate of 227.27.
