Paul Stirling's blistering 162, Captain Andy McBrine's well-made half-century and Harry Tector's blazing fifty sets up to Ireland comfortable 138-run victory over UAE and Ireland end their campaign with big win in the 20th match of a Cricket World Cup Qualifier.

Match Stats : Ireland's 138-run win was their second largest victory by terms of runs in One-day international and It is their second biggest win against UAE in ODIs after their biggest victory by 226 against same opponent at Harare in 2018. Ireland's 349 was their second highest score in One-day international and It is their highest total against UAE in ODIs, previous highest was 313 at Harare in 2018. 184 : Paul Stirling and Andy Balbirnie set up the second highest second-wicket partnership for Ireland against UAE in One-day international and the Ireland's third highest second-wicket stand in ODIs. Paul Stirling's 162 was his second highest score for Ireland in One-day international and the highest-score by an Ireland batsman against UAE in ODIs surpassing the previous record of 139 held by William Porterfield at ICCA Dubai in 2018. Paul Stirling's 162 was the second highest score by any batsman against UAE in ODIs after Gary Kirsten's unbeaten 188 at Rawalpindi in the 1996 World Cup. Paul Stirling became the first batsman to scored three centuries against UAE in ODI cricket history, beating Kyle Cortez, Matthew Cross, Preston Mommsen and William Porterfield. UAE's 211 was their fifth lowest score against Ireland in ODIs.

Ireland scored 349-4 in 50 overs with top scorer by Paul Stirling hammered a 162 off 134-balls - which was his 14th ODI hundred & his third century against UAE in ODIs - including 15-fours & 8-sixes with strike rate of 120.89.

Andy Balbirnie struck 66 off 88-balls including 5-fours & a six, Harry Tector hammered a 57 off 33-balls included 4-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 172.72.

Andy McBrine hit 24 off 28-balls including 3-fours & a six, Lorcan Tucker cracked a unbeaten 19 off 11-balls included 3-fours with strike rate of 172.72 and George Dockrell 15 not out.

UAE best bowler by Sanchit Sharma picked up 3-wickets and one for Ali Naseer.

UAE scored 211 for all-out in 39 overs with top scorer by Muhammad Waseem blasted a 45 off 32-balls including 6-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 140.62.

Sanchit Sharma scored 44 off 54-balls including 3-sixes & a four, Basil Hameed hit 39 off 52-balls included 3-sixes and Aryansh Sharma 18.

Ireland best bowler by Curtis Campher, Josh Little, George Dockrell, Andy McBrine each took 2-wickets and one for Barry McCarthy.

Paul Stirling named Player of the match for his record-breaking batting performance to smashed a blistering 162-runs knocked off facing 134-balls including 15-fours and 8-sixes with strike rate of 120.89.
