This is the 16th edition of the Asia Cup, with the matches played as One Day Internationals (ODIs), and jointly hosted by Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
The tournament participated by 6 teams, took place between from 30th August to 17th September 2023.
Sri Lanka are the defending Asia Cup champions. It is the first Asia Cup co-hosted by multiple countries; four matches played in Pakistan, and the remaining nine matches played in Sri Lanka.
India beat Sri Lanka by a easy ten-wicket to clinched their eighth Asia Cup title
