Pakistan scored 177 for all-out in 45.4 overs with top scorer by Saleem Malik struck 44 off 41-balls including 5-fours.

Ijaz Ahmed scored 37 off 41-balls India 2-fours, Imran Khan 23 not out, Javed Miandad 18 and Sajid Ali 15.

Australia best bowler by Debutant Merv Hughes - who picked up 3-wickets on his debut ODI match, Craig McDermott captured two-wickets, Terry Alderman, Steve Waugh and Peter Taylor each took one-wickets.

Australia chased 178-1 in 42.2 overs with top scorer by Geoff Marsh hit a unbeaten 86 off 135-balls including 7-fours.

Dean Jones scored a unbeaten 55 off 95-balls including one-six & a four and David Boon hit 27 off 29-balls included 4-fours.

Merv Hughes named Player of the match for his Impressive debut bowling performance to picked up 3-wickets for 30-runs in 10-overs including a maiden.
