Sri Lanka scored 194 for all-out in 47.1 overs with top scorer by Aravinda de Silva struck 96 off 107-balls - who fell four-run short of his century.

Hashan Tillakaratne scored 24 off 40-balls including two boundaries and Arjuna Ranatunga 15.

Australia best bowler by Simon O'Donnell picked up 3-wickets for 48-runs in 10-overs including a maiden, Geoff Lawson captured two-wickets, Allan Border, Merv Hughes and Terry Alderman each took one-wickets.

Aravinda de Silva named Player of the match for his fighting innings of 96 off 107-balls including 7-fours and 3-sixes.
