A powerhouse of hitting display from opener Finn Allen's record-breaking 137 powers New Zealand comprehensive 45-run victory over Pakistan and took an unassailable 3-0 lead to seal the series in the third T20.

  • New Zealand's 224 was their seventh highest score in T20 international and It is their second highest-score against Pakistan in T20Is after their 226 at Auckland in this series' opening T20I game.
  • New Zealand's 224 was their fifth highest score at their home venue in T20 international and the highest total by any team at University Oval, Dunedin in T20is, improving their previous highest was 219 against Australia in 2021.
  • Finn Allen became the sixth New Zealand batsman to score a hundred in T20 international.
  • Finn Allen became the second New Zealand batsman to score a century against Pakistan in T20Is after Mark Chapman.
  • Finn Allen's 137 was the highest score by an New Zealand batsman in T20 international cricket history, surpassing the previous record of 123 held by Brendon McCullum against Bangladesh at Pallekelle in the 2012 World Twenty20 and the joint fifth highest-score by any batsman in T20Is jointly with Kushal Malla and Zeeshan Kukikhel.
  • Finn Allen's 137 was the highest-score by any batsman in New Zealand soil in T20I cricket history, surpassing the previous record of unbeaten 116 held by Brendon McCullum against Australia at Christchurch in 2010.
  • 16 : Finn Allen equalled a joint most sixes hit in an innings in T20 international, jointly with Hazratullah Zazai against Ireland at Dehradun in 2019 and the most-sixes hit by New Zealand batsman in an innings in T20Is, surpassing the previous record of 10-sixes jointly hit by Corey Anderson against Bangladesh at Mount Maunganui in 2017 and Colin Munro against West Indies at Mount Maunganui in 2018.
  • Finn Allen hammered a 48-ball third fastest century for New Zealand in T20 international and the fastest hundred by New Zealand batsman against Pakistan in T20Is, surpassing the previous of 54-ball hundred held by Mark Chapman at Rawalpindi in the last year.
  • 40 : Mohammad Nawaz and Shaheen Shah Afridi set up the record seventh-wicket partnership for Pakistan in T20 international, previously held by the 38-run stand between Misbah-ul-Haq and Yasir Arafat against India in the inaugural 2007 World Twenty20.
  • Pakistan's 179 was their eighth highest score against New Zealand in T20 international and It is their fifth highest total in New Zealand soil in T20Is.

New Zealand scored mammoth total of 224-7 in 20 overs with top scorer by Finn Allen hammered a 137 off 62-balls - which was his 2nd T20I hundred and his first century against Pakistan in T20Is.

Tim Seifert cracked a 31 off 23- balls including 3-fours & a six with strike rate of 134.78 and Glenn Phillips hit 19 off 15-balls contained one-six & a four.

Pakistan best bowler by Haris Rauf took 2-wickets, Mohammad Wasim, Zaman Khan, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Mohammad Nawaz each took one-wickets.

Pakistan scored 179-7 in 20 overs with top scorer by Babar Azam blasted a 58 off 37-balls including 8-fours & a six.

Mohammad Nawaz hammered a 28 off 15-balls including 2-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 186.66, Mohammad Rizwan scored 24 off 20-balls included 2-sixes.

Fakhar Zaman hit 19 off 10-balls including 2-fours & a six with strike rate of 190 and Shaheen Shah Afridi scored a unbeaten 16 off 11-balls included one-six & a four with strike-rate of 145.

New Zealand best bowler by Tim Southee captured two-wickets, Mitchell Santner, Lockie Ferguson, Ish Sodhi and Matt Henry each took one-wickets.

Finn Allen named Player of the match for his record-breaking batting performance to smashed a career-best 137-runs knocked off facing 62-balls including 16-sixes & 5-fours with strike rate of 220.96.
