  • This is the second time West Indies winning on the last ball of the match in One-day international after their final ball win against Pakistan at Karachi in 1980.
  • Richie Richardson became the fourth West Indies batsman to score a century against England in ODIs after Roy Fredericks, Viv Richards and Desmond Haynes.
  • Richie Richardson became the fourth West Indies batsman to scored three centuries in ODIs after Desmond Haynes (16), Gordon Greenidge (11) and Viv Richards (11).

England scored 214-8 in 50 overs with top scorer by Allan Lamb struck 66 off 97-balls including 4-fours & a six.

Robin Smith cracked a 43 off 76-balls including 6-fours, Wayne Larkins hit 33 off 51-balls included 7-fours and David Capel scored 28 off 48-balls with a boundary.

West Indies best bowler by Ian Bishop claimed a 4-wickets for 28-runs in 10-overs including a maiden with economy rate of 2.8, Carl Hooper took 2-wickets and one for Courtney Walsh - Malcolm Marshall.

West Indies chased 216-7 in 50 overs with top scorer by Richie Richardson hit a unbeaten 108 off 132-balls - which was his 3rd ODI hundred and his first century against England in ODIs.

Jeff Dujon hit 27 off 37-balls including 4-fours, Viv Richards struck 25 off 45-balls including 3-fours and Carl Hooper scored 20 off consuming 57-balls with a boundary.

England best bowler by Eddie Hemmings picked up 3-wickets for 31-runs in 10-overs, Gladstone Small took 2-wickets and one for Phil DeFreitas - Angus Fraser.

Richie Richardson named Player of the match for his match-winning superb unbeaten 108-runs Knocked off 132-balls including 11-fours & 3-sixes.
