India bundled out for 178 in 45.5 overs with top scorer by Mohammad Azharuddin struck 40 off 61-balls including 2-fours.

Kapil Dev hit 32 off 35-balls including three-fours, Kiran More scored 27 off 34-balls included a boundary.

Sanjay Manjrekar scored 26 off 54-balls without a boundary and Navjot Sidhu hit 25 off 37-balls contained three-fours.

Sri Lanka best bowler by Rumesh Ratnayake picked up 3-wickets for 24-runs in 6.5-overs, Sanath Jayasuriya, Jayananda Warnaweera, Arjuna Ranatunga and Don Anurasiri each took one-wickets.

Arjuna Ranatunga named Player of the match for his all-round performance to took one-wicket for 36-runs in 10-overs after scoring a valuable 53 off 105-balls including one-six & a four.
