Aqeel Wahid's maiden unbeaten half-century and Bowlers shines as Malaysia registered their historic first T20I win against Saudi Arabia by a narrow 12-runs in the 8th match of a ACC Premier League.
Malaysia scored 146-7 in 20 overs with top scorer by Aqeel Wahid hammered a unbeaten 65 off 46-balls, Sharvin Muniandy hit 22 off 13-balls including 3-fours, Vijay Unni scored 20 off 19-balls included 2-fours and Muhammad Amir 15.
Saudi Arabia best bowler by Usman Najeeb picked up 3-wickets for 33-runs in 4-overs, Waji Ul Hassan, Ishtiaq Ahmad, Hisham Shaikh and Ahmad Raza each took one-wickets.
Saudi Arabia scored 134 for all-out in 19.1 overs with top scorer by Waji Ul Hassan hit a 40 off 29-balls including 2-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 137.93.
Abdul Waheed cracked a 32 off 26-balls including 6-fours and Usman Khalid scored 18 off 13-balls included one-six & a four.
Malaysia best bowler by Virandeep Singh picked up 3-wickets for 20-runs in 3.1-overs, Vijay Unni, Khizar Hayat, Muhammad Amir each took 2-wickets and one for Pavandeep Singh.
Aqeel Wahid named Player of the match for his brilliant batting performance to scored a career-best unbeaten 65 off 46-balls including 7-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 141.30.
