Top-order batsmens Alishan Sharafu, Muhammad Waseem and Asif Khan's blazing fifties before Aayan Afzal Khan and Muhammad Farooq's combined 5-wickets helped to UAE comfortable 37-run victory over Bahrain, despite a Imran Anwar's power-hitting 22-ball 60 in a high-scoring game of the sixth match of a ACC Premier Cup.
UAE scored mammoth total of 236-6 in 20 overs with top scorer by Alishan Sharafu hammered a 78 off 41-balls including 10-fours & 4-sixes with strike rate of 190.24.
Asif Khan blasted a 66 off 27-balls including 8-sixes & a four with strike rate of 244.44, Muhammad Waseem struck 65 off 40-balls included 4-sixes & 4-fours with strike rate of 162.50 and Syed Haider hit a unbeaten 13 off 9-balls with a boundary.
Bahrain best bowler by Imran Anwar picked up 3-wickets for 40-runs in 4-overs, Abdul Majid and Rizwan Butt both took one-wickets.
Bahrain scored 199-8 in 20 overs with top scorer by Imran Anwar hammered a 60 off 22-balls including 7-sixes & 2-fours with strike rate of 272.72.
Imran Ali hit 35 off 30-balls including 5-fours, Junaid Aziz scored a unbeaten 24 off 18-balls included one-six & a four with strike rate of 133.33, Umer Toor 17 and Rizwan Butt 17.
UAE best bowler by Aayan Afzal Khan picked up 3-wickets, Muhammad Farooq captured two-wickets, Muhammad Waseem, Junaid Siddique and Akif Raja each took one-wickets.
Aayan Afzal Khan picked up 3-wickets for 26-runs in 4-overs and took two catches.
