Captain Rohit Sharma's blistering 41-ball 92, Suryakumar Yadav, Shivam Dube and Hardik Pandya's rapid innings before Bowlers shine as India comfortable 24-run victory over Australia, despite a fighting knock from Travis Head's 43-ball 76 and enter into the semi-final in the 51st match of a T20 World Cup.

  • India's 24-run win was their fifth largest victory by terms of runs against Australia in T20 international and It is their tenth biggest win in T20 World Cups.
  • Rohit Sharma became the first player to hit 200 sixes in T20 international cricket history, Martin Guptill have second place with 173-sixes and third place Jos Buttler's (137-sixes).

* India will face England in the second semi-final at Guyana after winning of their all three Super Eight games.

* India into the semis, and for Australia - The situation is - They are knocked out if Afghanistan win tomorrow or if Bangladesh win big margin of 62 or more runs and if they scored 160 plus.

* For Australia to qualify for the semis, Bangladesh required to beat Afghanistan, but by a margin of under 62 runs if they batting first (assuming a total of 140). If Bangladesh chase, they'll need to reach target to 141 in at least 12.4 overs for Australia to finish with a higher run-rate.



India scored massive total of 205-5 in 20 overs with top scorer by Rohit Sharma hammered a 92 off 41-balls - who fell eight-run short of his century.

Suryakumar Yadav blasted a 31 off 16-balls including 3-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 193.75, Shivam Dube cracked a 28 off 22-balls included 2-fours & a six with strike rate of 127.27.

Hardik Pandya blasted a unbeaten 27 off 17-balls including 2-sixes & a four with strike rate of 158.82 and Rishabh Pant scored 15 off 14-balls included one-six & a four.

Australia best bowler by Mitchell Starc, Marcus Stoinis both took 2-wickets and one for Josh Hazlewood.

Australia scored 181-7 in 20 overs with top scorer by Travis Head hammered a 76 off 43-balls including 9-fours & 4-sixes with strike rate of 176.74.

Mitchell Marsh cracked a 37 off 28-balls including 3-fours & 2-sixes with strike rate of 132.14, Glenn Maxwell hit 20 off 12-balls included 2-fours & a six with strike rate of 166.66 and Tim David scored 15 off 11-balls with one-six & a four.

India best bowler by Arshdeep Singh picked up 3-wickets for 37-runs in 4-overs, Kuldeep Yadav took 2-wickets and one for Axar Patel - Jasprit Bumrah.

Rohit Sharma named Player of the match for his blistering batting performance to smashed a 92 off 41-balls including 8-sixes & 7-fours with strike rate of 224.39.
